Larry Slabosz · Chairperson
Larry received his Corporate Finance degree from Wayne State University and also has a graduate degree in Finance. He is a Financial Planner in Troy, MI, and has been in business since 1988. He helps individuals, families, businesses and the affluent with life, disability, health and long term care insurances, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, CD's, IRA's, 401-k plans, annuities, financial, college, retirement, business and estate planning. He is also affiliated with MetDesk which is Met Life's Division of Estate Planning for Special Needs Kids and Adults. He's been a consistent member of MDRT, Million Dollar Round Table, which is a professional organization that recognizes the top 3% of the producers in the insurance and financial planning profession, worldwide, based on production, ethics and integrity. He serves as Chairperson on his church's Finance and Administration Commission, is a Rotarian of the Sterling Heights Rotary and also has been with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary since 1997 serving as past Flotilla Commander for two years in Port Huron, is the current Staff Officer of Public Affairs and very active in Operations which would include Homeland Security patrols, search and rescue and regatta patrols. He has done a great deal of volunteer work for the Brain Injury Association of Michigan, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, and Rainbow Connection. His hobbies include music, traveling, scuba, snorkeling, riding his motorcycle, jet skiing, down hill skiing, cycling, working out at the gym and spending quality time with
family and friends.

Robert Dillaber · Vice Chairperson
Bob has 12 years professional and volunteer experience serving the disability community. His work in this field began as a caseworker for Michigan Rehabilitation Service from 1967 to 1970. Subsequent to this he spent approximately 20 years professionally employed as a career counselor, working with persons who have lost their employment in company downsizing.
Bob earned a BA in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1963, and a M.A. and vocational rehabilitation from Wayne State University in 1967.
Bob began his volunteer work with the disability community in 1997 when he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) where he has served to this date. Seven years ago he began a support group for the DBSA and in addition he has co-managed five DBSA Annual Conferences. Five years ago Bob was appointed a Board Member of the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority and now serves as vice chair. In addition, he is the Board's representative to the Authorities Consumer Advisory Committee and a member of the Executive Director Performance Evaluation Committee. Two years ago Bob was elected a Charter Member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Mental Health Institute-and outgrowth of Governor Jennifer Granholm's Mental Health Commission.
Bob, who is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, has three adult children, six grandchildren and a rescue dog named Mimi. He is also an avid jazz music buff .

Joseph Houle · Secretary
Joseph is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is also a graduate of the University of Detroit School of Law. He has been a member in good standing of the Michigan Bar since 1993. His practice is devoted to the representation of individuals who are disabled and who are seeking Social
Security Disability benefits. Mr. Houle has presented to various groups both regionally and nationally on the Social Security Disability process. He is married and has 3 children. He is active in the Rochester Youth Soccer League.

Diane Boley · Trustee
Diane has lived in Eastpointe for 22 years, and has been married for 22 years. Diane has her own business, a beauty shop called Split Ends Hair Care, for the past 7 years and been a hairdresser for 32 years. Diane has been involved in a variety of community services for many years. She ran a youth dart league for 20 years, and just became a Red Cross volunteer. Diane is also the president of the Eastpointe Lioness Club, and has been a lioness for 12 years. Diane has had fund raiser experience and has been doing them for 15 years. Diane feels fortunate for her own good health, and would like to help others fulfill their goals. One of the reasons Diane wanted to join the DNOM Board is because of the inspiration she has gained from knowing Colleen Manning (a DNOM Board member for many years). She sees Colleen as a fighter, and someone who doesn’t give up.

Terry Brusoe · Trustee
Terry has lived in the Detroit Metro area his whole life. He’s earned 75 college credit hours concentrating on mathematics and science. During the last forty years, Terry has attended many continuing education conferences and seminars. He spent most of his working years in hospitals working as a Pulmonary Function Technician, but is now retired. In 1975, Terry was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He recently became interested in helping those with disabilities. Terry learned the value of education in dealing with any disability and the necessity of teaching those with disabilities how to live the best life they can. He currently volunteers for many different organizations such as CMH, St. Johns Hospital, and several churches.

Randy Charon · Trustee
Randy was introduced to DNOM in 1999, when he was in a hunting accident that paralyzed him from mid-chest down. During rehab, he became a member of Disability Network Oakland & Macomb. Randy attends empowerment meetings, became a facilitator, and joined the Board of Trustees. He
soon became a member of the Disability Network near my home. Randy attended their Empowerment meetings, became a facilitator, and joined their Board of Trustees. Prior to his accident, Randy was a heating/cooling technician for local 636 and has been married to his wonderful wife, Danielle, for 31 years. Randy wants to help advocate for all people with disabilities.

Mark Cronmiller · Trustee
Mark M. Cronmiller is an attorney who began his practice in 2005 and is currently working as a solo practitioner. Mr. Cronmiller joined the DNOM Board of Trustees in the fall of 2005 and in the fall of 2006 he became the Board Chairperson.
Previous to these experiences Mark lived in New York City for approximately 24 years, but is a native to Michigan and grew up in St. Clair Shores. During the 90s, Mark worked with several community organizations in NYC. There he was part of a spinal cord outreach program and helped design and implement meetings and education. Mark also volunteered with the Manhattan Center for Living, which worked with individuals in the community who had terminal illnesses. Another project Mark was involved with was the NY Nurses Association Hospice Program Community Outreach Design Team that worked to create a network of services that could be provided to hospice clients in their homes.
Mark is excited to be working with the Disability Network Oakland & Macomb organization at a time when there is great potential for future growth.

Tammy Leach · Trustee
Tammy has been living in Shelby Twp. for the last three years. She is an animal lover and currently has two dogs and a rabbit. She considers herself caring, compassionate, friendly, and a good listener. She loves meeting new people and learning new things. Tammy’s ultimate goal in life is to become a Social Worker specializing in working with children. In the mean time, Tammy wants to increase her volunteer opportunities and explore new experiences. She feels she can bring new ideas to the board from a consumer-perspective. Tammy has been living with a mental illness for the past 20 years, and has the time and dedication to devote to the Board and it’s many projects.

Sanford J. Mall, JD, CELA · Trustee
Sanford (Sandy) is the founder and senior partner of Mall Malisow & Cooney, PC – The Holistic Estate & Elder Care Law Firm. Sandy is the Chairperson for the Elder Law & Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan and he is nationally Board Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA). The CELA designation distinguishes him in the practice of law as a nationally recognized expert in his practice areas of estate planning, elder law, special needs disability planning and advocacy and estate administration. Sandy was also listed in Worth Magazine as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in the country and one of only three so designated in the state of Michigan. Sandy is a nationally recognized speaker and is an instructor for the College of Financial Planning, teaching Estate Planning courses.

Colleen Manning · Trustee
Colleen became involved with the OMCIL since 1997 as a consumer. Colleen became a full time volunteer in 1998 and was honored with the volunteer of the year award in 2000. Because she utilizes public transportation she is aware of the problems surrounding the use of public transportation. She works as an activist for available, affordable public transportation for people with disabilities. She also attends multiple ADA trainings and became a Certified ADA Specialist during her time as a volunteer.
Colleen has served on the Board of Trustees since 2001 in various positions including Secretary, Vice- Chair, and Chairperson and now serves as a Trustee.
Colleen, a Registered Nurse and Case Manager, has worked at Mt. Clemens General Hospital for 3 years and Detroit Receiving Hospital in the Medical ICU for 8 years and was promoted to Patient Care Coordinator for 2 years before her disability occurred.
She considers herself one of the luckiest people on earth as she found the true love of her life and guardian angel, Mike. Colleen and Mike built and live in a beautiful wheelchair accessible home in Chesterfield Township, MI and enjoy life to the fullest.
